We highly recommend using humidified pretzel warmers. Humidified pretzel warmers will merchandise and keep your pretzels fresh and soft all day long. Non humidified pretzel warmers dry out your pretzels and reduce the pretzel's shelf life. Pretzels that are left in a standard warmer for an extended period of time tend to taste stale and hard.

Model 5550PR humidified pretzel warmer has a 40 to 50 jumbo pretzel capacity. Four shelf revolving display rack and 1400 watt heating element. Also available in double door model.

Model 5551PR humidified pretzel warmer is is a compact version of the #5550 unit. Cap tube thermometer senses cabinet temperature. 30 to 40 Jumbo Pretzel capacity. 900 watt heating element. Also available in double door model.


Model 5552PR combination pretzel oven and humidified cabinet saves space and money. The best of both worlds - cook and hold in a single unit! 30 to 40 Jumbo Pretzel capacity. Model 6501 Sterno pretzel merchandiser offers pretzels where no electricity is available! This unit is perfect for remote locations. Keeps pretzels warm and fresh for hours. Lift-out glass for easy cleaning and seven station pretzel rack. Requires four cans of "Sterno" cooking fuel (NOT included). Sterno is odorless and smoke free. The 7oz. can burns consistently or in increments equal to 2 hours. The gel is extinguishable and can be re-lit without affecting product performance. 25 to 30 jumbo pretzel capacity.

Pretzel Cooking Options

Option 1

Microwave for 30-60 seconds.
The product must be served immediately.
This method is for low volume, but it is a great way for you to test your market.

Option 2

Place in toaster oven for 2-4 minutes
This will give the pretzel a crisp texture - from there, place into a heated cabinet.

Option 3
Hang in humidified cabinet and allow about 20-30 minutes for pretzels to heat.
This method is for higher volume and allows you to have pretzels ready to serve all day. Holding time is about 2 hours.

INTERESTING FACT about the creation of the pretzel. It is thought that in 610AD at a monastery somewhere in Southern France or Northern Italy - monks used scraps of dough and formed them into strips to represent a child's arms folded in prayer. The three empty holes represented the Christian Trinity. The monks called the pretzel like product Pretiola, which is Latin word for "little reward". Eventually the product made its way over to the Alps into Austria and Germany where it became known as Bretzel and Pretzel.
